The Details

What we remember most about Kathryn and Raoul’s wedding, was the love and family that surrounded them. The friendship and support from their community was really evident throughout the planning process and particularly on the day.

Kathryn’s family home was transformed into a beautiful backyard wedding with the help of their guests and of course us! Her parents had invited us into their home like we were their own children more times than one, and from that moment, we knew we were in for a treat!

The ceremony was held at the beautiful Logwoods Homestead, dressed to impress with vibrant flowing florals from Willow Bud. Pastor Rick led the ceremony and involved so many guests who gave their own speeches to the couple.

Once the ceremony concluded, guests made their way back to the house for welcome drinks and canapes. Kathryn & Raoul ventured off with Amy Higg into the Cactus Forest to get some last-minute photos. The backyard was illuminated with festoons upon arrival back to the reception, and love was truly in the air.

The night was filled with heart warming speeches and incredible food. Its not often that we experience a wedding at a family home, it really makes you feel the love being surrounded by their family and friends. All in all, this was a beautiful wedding. This was definitely one to remember that’s for sure!

Jacqueline and her team rescued us in the middle of our wedding plans when our previous planner had to leave and we had no idea what we were doing and which way was up! Jacqui was amazing in accessing all different vendors for us, coordinating deliveries and planning a timeline for the whole day. Everything was just made so simple, especially since we were holding our reception at my parent’s home.

On the day I didn’t have to think about a thing, Amy and Kiisha had it all sorted down to the finest detail, even making sure we had a cup of water after the ceremony (with a straw – can’t ruin the lipstick!). Every request we made was met with “yep, we can make that happen” and they did! I am usually a complete stress-head but this wonderful team made it possible for me to relax and enjoy my wedding day, having everything run absolutely perfectly! I cannot recommend them highly enough or even begin to thank you enough! Just Amazing! xxKathryn
