Joel + Anita

Obi Obi Hall, Obi Obi

The Details

I have known Joel and Anita for over 5 years so it was a definite YES from me when Anita asked me to help plan her wedding. Obi Obi Hall provided the best option for an open air wedding.

Anita is a florist and photographer herself, so – of course – she picked the best suppliers to make her day. A lot of Anita’s wedding vendors were friends (or family!), the grazing table put together by us and some friends, while a friend at Daisy Cakes lined up a small wedding cake and a dessert table filled with delightful pastries, pies and tarts.

As the night closed in, the temperatures dropped – but never fear! A friend stood by as fire warden as a large bonfire was lit. Everyone crowded around, eating delicious pizza from Jungle Oven, and warming their tummies with beer and wine. Cut-a-Rug rocking the music on, even wrapped up in a woolen blanket! Oh! We can’t forget the 3L bottle of Peter Lehman Shiraz that made its way around the crowd!

These two were simply stunning, and remain to be this day. My love for their little family including Lu, Vader & Ziggy can’t be put in words. It was such a pleasure to be part of your amazing day, even if we did have to shove Joel in the ‘taxi’ at the end of the night. All the best xx
